So you need to write a new eBook, or product, but don’t know how to go about starting it? But – has it got to be entirely NEW? I’m all for working ‘smart’ not ‘hard’ and re-branding is one of the ways to do this.
PLR, or Private Label Rights is one of the many ways to write your ‘new’ eBook. Once you have acquired, or bought the PLR to an eBook or articles, then all you need do is choose a subject to compliment your niche.
It’s surprising just what you can find in the bottom of your “eBin”… Grab two or three eBooks or articles and read them through. Yes, it’s important that you check them over then pick out the best bits. Then re-write these in your own words, write a new introduction, create a few new chapters, and bingo! you have your new eBook.
Then to really create your masterpiece, have professional graphics made, and you’re away. It really can be a breeze, and great fun! This is one of the most enjoyable and satisfying ways to write your new product.
In fact it can be a very gratifying process to get a PLR product, read it, pick out the best bits, re-write it, and add a few other paragraphs and images to put your own ‘brand’ on it. You can then copyright it and sell it as your own.
However, one word of warning: do not assume that because an existing ebook or article does not have a Copyright mark, that it’s freely available. It’s important to re-write the content and make it your own. It’s a mistake to simply copy and paste the original ebook or article as it is. Don’t bend the law and push the boundaries.
